Thank you all so much for voting in last week's blog poll for the next photo session to be featured on the blog! It was fun watching the votes shift from one session to the next, as nearly 200 people voted, but in the end there was one very clear winner. The most requested session from last week's post was Jeff and Leshele's Engagement Session! In all reality, though, after Leshele decided that her's was going to be next, none of the others even had a chance. Seriously, I ran into her at yesterday's wedding, and she told me that she called all of her friends to log-in and vote for her, and she even posted her request on facebook. How awesome is that! The funny part is, Jeff ended up voting for someone else's session, because he felt bad voting for his own :-) Anyway, as much as I love every one of the photo sessions that was in the running (I have to say that, right? :-), I must say that Jeff and Leshele's turned out especially great. Thinking back on the session from three weeks ago, I think it was a combination of several things: (1) Jeff and Leshele came ready to relax and have fun together, (2) they chose outfits that compliment each other, and that they look and feel their best in, (3) they brought a couch with them, (4) they were willing to jump a fence and wade through cow pies to get the best shot, and (4) they're crazy about each other! It really was the perfect combo.
So, there is a good chance I'll be sharing a few of the runners up in the next few weeks, but I've also photographed a couple weddings since last week's post, and I'm excited to post those as soon as I'm done with the editing. For now, a big congratulations to Jeff and Leshele on their engagement! I hope you enjoy their photos...

Just had to get one silly photo with the cows...

For the second part of the session we met up in Old Town, Eureka, for a more "out-on-the-town" sort of look...
